I don't know if I adequately expressed my amazement and thankfulness regarding my team mates that went on the May trip.

Andie-
As Catherine's mom, I am so grateful that she was able to go with you all on this trip to Africa. I worried so that we were doing the right thing, especially for us, this family right now and the economy/house sales which support us. But as I squatted down next to Catherine's car in the parking lot of the bank the Friday before she was to leave, helping her calculate the donations/gifts she had received, knowing that we still needed $l500.00 to cover the rest of the trip payments owed, and her list of contributions came to exactly $l500.00--I knew then even more that this trip was God's plan for her.
Thank you to the whole team for what this experience has meant to her. I know God has blessed you all--through each other and all His children you met along the way. I have been truly blessed each time you all have posted a blog--God is so good and so faithful. And the pictures have added a great dimension for us sharing this experience from so far away (and for us mothers letting our young daughters go so far away, a great reassurance/connection!).
I know it must be hard to come back home, know as I pick Catherine up Saturday she may have a hard time adjusting to coming down from the mountain top experience she has had. May God keep the His spirit and His purposes fresh and alive as you continue to minister and witness for Him here.
Love,
Melissa Wise
